I received the following reply from Janet Zeller, of the USDA Forest
Service, concerning our comments on the proposed accessibility guidelines:

Mr. Snow, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments on the Forest
Service Trail Accessibility Guidelines. We are in the process of preparing
responses to the comments shared, but also considering what revisions could
be made based on the comments.

In your comments one of your recommendations was that the proposed
guidelines include clarification regarding volunteer participation. That
sounds appropriate to us. Is there any specific wording that you feel would
be helpful to the reader to convey this issue?
